DKL was looking for a multi-purpose space to prepare and sell food to workers and tenants on their job site.
The challenge was to set up this space as effectively and practically as possible, while still ensuring it complied with all aspects of health and safety legislation.
Topshell responded to the challenge through the innovative placement of the kitchen and serving areas, including a user-friendly sales hatch.
Understanding that the unit might not be used on the same site, Topshell made sure the structure was semi-permanent – with the option of it being fully movable in the future – a huge advantage in terms of not having to submit municipal building plans for erection.
